The Dodge Neon made a come back to the GCC market in 2017. Under the hood, the front-wheel drive sedan is powered by a 1.6-litre engine, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Three trims are available – the SE, SXT and SXT Plus. Standard features on the SE include power steering, power windows, electric mirrors, central locking, remote key, manual A/C, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, cruise control, audio system with radio and MP3/USB/AUX support, Bluetooth, 4 speakers, fog lamps with cornering function and 15-inch steel wheels. The SXT gets additional chrome grille, parking sensors, TFT instrument panel display, automatic A/C, navigation, audio system with 7-inch touch screen and 6 speakers, and 16-inch steel wheels. The SXT Plus gets front seat lumbar adjustment, rear head restraints, electrochromic rearview mirror, rain sensing wipers and 17-inch alloy wheels. Standard safety features are top-notch which include ABS, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), stability control, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, driver and passenger airbags, side airbags, curtain airbags and hill-assist function.
